Greg was unbelievable. He couldn't wait to see Melissa. But, he had to wait and it was well worth it. I was so happy to hear from Melissa when she was looking for a photographer for her wedding. Melissa and her family grew up two doors down from the first house my wife and I lived in when we got married. And - Melissa's Aunt Jen was in our wedding. The best part was that the rain stopped when we pulled up to the hotel and stayed away the rest of the day. Here are a few shots from their big day. The rest of the photos will be available to view online here... www.pictage.com/296923 Register and you will be notified once the photos are released.
Check out these two shots from Eric, my second camera. He shot a pan from the side pews - then ran around back and still got Melissa and her father walking up the isle from behind.
On Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing these lovely young ladies for their First Holy Communion. The big day is this Saturday - Congratulatins Girls!
I had to include this shot. Even though it is her big day, she posed for a few with her brother. Don't these two look great?
The Applegates have been great to the studio over the years - I stopped by their house to update an older family photo I shot a while back. Well, Sunday was beautiful and they gave me ten minutes of their time. You have to take what they can give, the hardest working family in H-Town.
Saturday afternoon I had some time to kill so I asked Morgan if she would "let me" take a few shots of her. And get this - she said YES! We jumped into the family truckster I've been sporting the past week and off we went.
I had the pleasure of photographing Regina and Ryan Saturday. I shot their parents wedding a few years ago in the days of film. Ryan was my assistant, calling out my light meter readings and then he hammed it up for the camera.
Saturday morning started off with an engagement session with Colleen and Josh. They are to be wed in May. We picked a brisk day to shoot at a park around the corner from their homes. They grew up together up/down the street from each other, riding bikes - roller blading in this park. I needed to add some color so we jumped in the car and found an old train, some flowers and lastly Valley Forge Chapel.
I was able to stop in for a few minutes and see my family at my niece's birthday party at 309 Roller Rink. Just in time as she received balloons from the rink's Moose.
