May 27, 2007 Wedding

Here are a few shoots from Sunday's Wedding. I was second camera for the Fabulous Jackie Bayne,(http://www.jbweddings.com/). Getting hot already. The Bride and Groom wanted to get all the shots done prior to the ceremony. We set up a meeting at Love Park for the "First Look". Then we walked around for a little bit getting some fun stuff of them then off to the Top of the Tower. We also had some competition at Love Park. This lady was sweet, she found a penny heads up and gave it to the Bride and Groom for good luck.

Here Comes The Bride

As I am editing this weekends wedding, I came across this series of shots. I had to drop everything and post it. It is something that I do just about every Saturday - Dad brings his daughter down the isle, snap - snap and it's over. But, these photos made me think of me walking my girls down the isle when that time comes and how it is not as easy as it looks. There are so many emotions going on. The Groom hasn't seen the Bride yet and the Bride hasn't seen the groom. There is excitement as everyone turns to watch that long walk up the isle. Dad is proud to have his little girl on his arm, the big day is here and all that planning and preperation is in the past. Not that long ago she was coming home for the first time. Learning to walk, ride a bike, off to school, her first dance then onto college. Now she is grown and it is her Wedding Day...

Erin & Trevor E-Shoot

Erin and Trevor met at VFCC, walked around campus and the public trail. Trevor proposed to Erin at the Black Lab in Phoenixville - had to include that. Then we took a walk down Bridge Street and had some fun. I never knew this little sitting park with a globe mural was there, so I asked them to humor me and point to the country they want to go to.

Colleen and Josh Get Hitched

All week I watched the weather change from nice to a Noreaster to partly cloudy. It turned out to be perfect. Colleen and Josh have been friends for a long time. They grew up together living on the same street. The dress came from Italy, purchased during a vacation last year. Flowers were awesome, ceremony was half Italian half English in the same church that I photographed my first wedding (solo) about 20 years ago. Followed by a memorable reception at Drexelbrook. Couldn't ask for anything more.
