Malvern Engagement Photographer - Nicole and Jon

I have always been blessed with the greatest clients and this year is following in the same tradition.  Met with Nicole and Jon this morning to finally meet in person and go over a few things for their upcoming wedding.  I brought my camera along just incase I could talk them into stepping outside for a few snaps.  They took the bait and we spent about ten minutes nearby.  I am so glad we did as even though they came back home for the weekend, they are very busy.  Jon is playing with his old band at Penn State's Dance Marathon to benefit pediatric cancer this weekend, (more info here http://www.thon.org).
And Nicole is working to nail a few things down for the wedding before they head to University Park.
Here are a few of the images...

Alyssa Is 13 - Pottstown, PA Portrait Photographer

Alyssa is now 13, and there goes more of my hair.  She wanted to do a few photos in her new dress so I  quick set up a back drop then waited a half hour, then an hour as I listened to the hair dryer then the urgh's as she was working on her mug.  Yes, she now cares about her looks and spends the extra time getting ready - she's 13.
After the back drop she wanted to brave it in the cold so we drove over to High St. for a few very quick shots as she realized how cold it was in her new dress.

Phoenixville, PA Engagement Photographer - Ashley and Chris

Went out into the snow and we did a quick photo session with Ashley and Chris...

Sanatoga, PA Bridal Show - Bridal Blossoms

Well we did it.  The first in a series created by my friend Leslie of Whimsical Welcomes filled Shearer Elegance on Sunday.  The genius of the event is that it just wasn't to show brides what we have to offer, BUT help give guidance from our perspective of the thought and care that each of us put into the work we do.  Out topic for this event was flowers.
Cookie welcomed everyone to her B&B and gave tours around the Brownback Mansion.
Leslie introduced herself and discussed the importance of selecting the proper flowers for the time of the year.  Explained what may cause price changes for certain flowers during the year.  Floral cake toppers and showed some bouquet bling.
I kept it real short by stressing how important it is to communicate with your florist all the details, (indoor or outdoor wedding - dress colors, day or evening and venue) of your day so that they can help you select the proper flowers for your day.  Think I was timed at 27 seconds, I wanted to get to try some cake.
Wendy Hartigan spoke about her services as a wedding planner.  She is hands on and works hard for her clients to make everything run smooth and make their dream wedding come to life.
Tricia from Country Bride and Gents discussed todays dress trends.
Then we cut some cake and served to our guests.
Can't wait for our next event in April, details to follow.
