Friday Night Cheer

I finally made it to a game that Alyssa was cheering in. I could have made the first one, but it was cancelled and then I have had a wedding every Friday since. So here are a few photo's of Alyssa in action. She hammed it up for me.

Happy Birthday Morgan

Last week I wrote about looking for the bestest present - well, 14 years ago - mine came 10 days late. Morgan is growing and time seems like it is going faster then ever. Feels like yesterday when Evelyn and I brought her home and panic set in - "what do we do now"? Now we spend most of time yelling at her to get off the phone and do a few things to help out around the house.

FACT! Most fathers lose their hair when their daughters are teenagers more then any other time in their lives.

TRUE or FALSE? Raising a girl is easier then raising a boy. FALSE!!! Girls are way more harder to deal with.

Here is a shot of my folks. Yep, I owe it all to these two love birds - both of which I still learn a lot from. This is Sunday night after the Eagles big win over Detroit, so my Dad in his Sunday Eagles shirt decided to give my Mom a big tackle - or hug?

E A G L E S !

Monday night football, home opener, Eagles vs the Redskins - Eagles favored by 3, oh well. My friend Josh took me to the game for my birthday. Our adventure started with a 12:30 meet time in the parking lot of Ply Meeting mall. Thats when Scott was coming by to pick us up in the RV. Scott has a nice RV about 30 feet long - not one that you can land aircraft on but almost. We got down there about 1:30 and had everything set up and the grill started by 2:00.
This was two firsts for me - tailgating and a game at the new field. I have never been to a regular Sunday game, only two Monday night games at the Vet - so keeping with tradition, put another Monday under the belt. I had a great time - food was great and the day was awesome. Josh's seats are on the 30 yardline seven rows back so we're on top of the action. Best part was when Phil a face painted guy three rows behind us won Fan of the Game and Swoop stopped by - I was laughing so hard that I missed the photo op, as Josh did his Great Wallenda act across the tops of the seats to get in frame for the TV camera in front of Swoop.
Doesn't get any better then this.
