Bad on Blogging
Forgive me for I have not posted anything here in about four months. Always busy, I have taken a easier route by just uploaded images to Facebook.
So I thought I would start off with this post. I try and keep this blog to only what is going on with the studio, but I have to take a moment on this one to salute the happiest man in the world right now...
After almost 50 years of working for the same company - HR called him in last week and gave him his walking papers. You might think that it is a bad thing, maybe even cry age discrimination BUT WAIT! After starting out working in a gas station he was discovered by the boss (first of many) of the company he would spend just about a half century with. He was hired to take care of the equipment, warehouse it, make emergency repairs on location and just about anything he could do for the company.
Well, through the years the company had been sold many times and he stayed on - same day different boss. He had been thinking about retiring but needed that push and he finally got it. So here is to my Dad - Congratulations, you have earned it - now it is time to enjoy.
