On this Day...

Twenty years ago I proposed to Evelyn. Funny how you remember these things. It was the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning. We drove up to the arch in VF Park to meet some friends, so she thought. As we were sitting there on the side of the arch. I gave her a kiss and slipped the ring on her finger. She has given me more then I could ever ask for and then some. She is the world to me.  

We went to breakfast yesterday and then to the Elmwood Park Zoo. On the way home stopped into see my Mom. They just celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in April.

Stacey and Paul

Stacey and Paul are a very brave couple. We decided to go to Ocean City, NJ for their engagement session. So Sunday morning I leave my house and it is warm and partly cloudy. By the time I reached the boardwalk, it was windy, dreary and cold. We decided to push on. Stacey was freezing and Paul did his best to keep her warm. She doesn't look cold does she? We walked the boards and then hit the beach.

Last Sunday Favorites

Not all of my favorites, but a few.  Megan was one of the most laid back brides I've ever had the pleasure to photograph.  She actually used to be a wedding photographer and worked for a studio that I worked for when I was starting out.  I would catch her falling into those old poses and I would have to mix it up a little bit.  There are a bunch of funny face photos that I will save for another blog.

Alyssa's First Soccer game

This past weekend was Alyssa's first soccer game. Can't wait for the weather to completely break as she has been practicing in the living room the past month.

Family Session in the Rain

We used the arch to shield us from the light rain we had while doing the session. The rain wasn't bad - it only seemed to be raining in Valley Forge, the wind was the killer. The wind wouldn't blow until I put my camera to my eye. Here are a few shots...
