Laythi is graduating this June and then it is off to Army boot camp over the summer and then up to East Stroudsburg for college.

Happy Birthday Ma!

Today is my Mom's birthday. Doesn't she look fabulous for 90? I stopped down this morning and we went out to breakfast. I can't believe she put up with me as a kid. Being a dad of a teenager, when something happens and I am in parent enforcer mode, I always think back to when I was a kid and what my punishment would be for such an offense. Then, after everything is done somehow my Mom always finds out - she tells me to stop being so hard on the girls. I go nuts. This kind gentle women once chased me with a hanger. She cornered me and started hitting me with it. It was plastic so it broke after the 19th or 20th swing. Then I started laughing - she didn't like that, so she put it against my neck. I had to tell everyone I cut myself shaving, which was a joke because I only had fuzz at that age. Ahh, the memories.

Old Pix

I've been looking through some old photos and the zillions of negatives I have stored. I also hooked up my scanner and have started to post some photos of friends over on Facebook. I came across this image of my daughter Morgan and Lacey. That truck is still around and of course Morgan is but Morgan's best bud Lacey wasn't with us very long. Anyway, this is one of my favorites that I've done with my number One daughter.

The Big Game

My friend Sean coaches his son's hockey team and he was telling me that Saturday's game was going to be a good one. With only a few games left in the season, if they win - they'll be in first place so if I had time to come on down and watch. Alyssa also started guitar lessons at the same time, but they moved it up and since I was only a few minutes away, I stopped in and brought my camera just incase. I did capture a bunch of great shots, but only posted a few. Did they win? Well, it was a good game and I'll let the last photo speak for itself.
