Happy Birthday To ME!

Today is my birthday. I am as old as I feel, which is still about 18. I was thinking about birthday's past and I remember as a kid and my parents taking me to Kiddie City in Ardmore and I could pick out anything I wanted. That one pick would last half the day as I would run around looking for the BESTEST TOY EVER. Most likly something to do with my hero GI JOE. Sharon had Barbies and I had a few GI Joes and a Big Jim that did the chop when you pressed the button on his back. When my cousins would come over, we would all play together, that always ended up with Sharon getting mad because somehow the game became GI Joe on a three day pass and Barbie didn't have a chance.
Anyway, today the girls and I went fishing. Then we went to one of my favorite places for dinner - Hibachi, then back home for cake and an ice cream sandwich.

Ev hanging out, getting some sun - Hey Baby!

Alyssa named this one BigGuy

Morgan is fishing and Alyssa is naming the rest of the worms
Alyssa wanted to hold the only fish I caught today - but after he fell to the dirt, she settled for just a touch

Morgan pulled this monster from the deep, can we keep him Dad?

I taught Alyssa how to set the hook, so as soon as she would feel a nibble, she would yank the fish clear out of the water and onto the bank

Morgan moved into the spot that I caught mine, this is mean country out here

Caught a turtle too, can we keep him Dad - you never let us keep anything.

Keep your eye on it Morgan

Good catch, now spit it out because you hate shrimp - she was just being nice to the chef.

Thanks Girls for a family fun day on my birthday. Thanks Mom and Dad - without you two - well you know. And thanks Bill for that special song on the answering machine - I laughed, I cried - it gave me chills.

McGinley Kids

I only spent about an hour photographing the McGinley kids this afternoon. I have so many good shots of these adorable kids, I just posted these and I had trouble getting down to this amount. Found this little schoolhouse and it provided a nice backdrop plus we were visited by a cat - that we later found out was bleeding so out came the anti-bacterial wipes and a spray bottle to get rid of the cat. Still wondering why the McGinley's carry a spray bottle in their SUV? Armed and ready to fight off all those stays?

Joanne & Tamim

Here is something I think I should do with every Bride and Groom - get a picture with them. The Groom's sister-n-law stepped up showing her camera technique and clicked this off of Eric and I with Joanne and Tamim. The newly weds are off for two weeks to Italy - Congrats.

I have to thank Eric for suppyling me with a boatload of great images. Eric has been my main second for five years this fall. He has come a long way from never wanting to do a wedding to doing his own now. It is good to know that I don't have to think about what he is doing, I can just do my routine and he knows what he needs to get and our clients receive a great selection of images. Thanks Eric, awesome job Saturday!

Look at this Bugger

Don't want to gross anyone out, but I found this guy while trimming the bushes today. Thinking of making a business card out of it - if I can make this guy look good - . Maybe not.

First Day of School Already?

The first day of school seemed to come up fast this year. Alyssa was so excited to get on the bus, it's her first year riding it since Pops is now around to pick her up. Morgan, well she was - typical Morgan. She's excited to see her friends, I guess - don't know for sure?

Look, she is smiling!

Check out the bag, no characters this year - she's in 2nd grade now.

I did alright, up til this part - the wave got me.

Vettes in Carlisle

It has been a busy, busy summer. I have only had a few weekends off and only a few days that I wasn't either shooting or in the studio editing. I've missed the Friday lunches with the gang - I'll make it one of these Fridays!
I did make it up to the big Corvette event in Carlisle on Thursday. It was a set up day and I helped my friend Rich bring one of his Vette's up there to sell. Here are a few images...
